I'm officially obsessed.

My friend Kristine and I have been making some custom props for our little side business Plum Workshop and they are turning out so cute! But man oh man, once I started sewing one little mushroom, I couldn't stop!

Real Simple Family issue

The new special issue of Real Simple Family includes a feature on birthday parties that I styled, helped develop and made custom props for. It was really fun to work on and turned out super cute. Check it out!

fame and fortune

Someone in this family is seeking her fame and fortune and her name is Gingerlee. She was in a photo shoot for Natural Health Magazine on Monday for an article on homeopathic pet treatments and she's in another tomorrow for Everyday with Rachael Ray Magazine. I was hired to sew a dog version of an Elvis costume and they are using her as the model.

The Sparky Project

I just finished a painting for a show called 'The Sparky Project'. It's a collection of portraits and tributes to a sweet dog named Sparky. Nelson, Sparky's owner, has been collaborating with artists on 'The Sparky Project' since 2004.

Here is the painting I made of Sparky as St. Francis:
